Hosting a retirement party, charitable event, birthday party, dance performance, baptism or other special event?  You will never regret having a professional videographer and/or photographer provide high quality images for you to memorialize your life’s best moments. Whether is is a party, festival or corporate seminar, I strive to add creativity, meaning and beauty into each event photo and video.

Let your uncle Bob enjoy the event while I do the work of capturing all the details.  I use a documentary, story telling style. I like to be a fly on the wall of the event but also interact with people enough to get smiles and direction for posed images too.

EVENT VIDEOS

It is a busy life for all of us, we don’t have a lot of time to waste, so it is important to keep videos short and to the point so they are easy to share online. 3-5 minutes is the maximum for the Highlight Videos. I like to fill those minutes with only what you need and want to keep on watching.  

Full length, edited videos are also provided for family viewing in the comfort of your home on the big screen or computer monitor.

A Family Friendly Event – Check out the killer moves and epic wipeouts at the Texada Skim Jam, an annual event at Gilles Bay Beach during the Sand Castle weekend.

Arbutus Club 50th Birthday Party

Anthony’s wife Rowena was contemplating what gift to give a man who has almost everything for his milestone 50th Birthday.  She decided that a party with all of his friends and family was the perfect gift and The Arbutus Club was the perfect venue.

Anthony is a wine connoisseur so Rowena decided to have a wine themed party – “Aged to Perfection”.  Rowena thought out and created every detail for the theme: table place cards made of corks, Moet & Chandon gifts, custom made wine glasses and a wine bottle cake, just to name a few.

Tanzanian Engagement Party

Obied and Chantal celebrated their engagement with a Traditional Tanzanian ceremony at the Scottish Cultural Centre in Marpole, Vancouver on August 13, 2016. 

It was fascinating to see all of the customs, dances and joining of two families. The colours were bright and beautiful, the music and dance were lively and set the pace for the event.

Shooting events is a lot of fun, I get to be part of the excitement of a birthday party, celebration or festival.  I capture those special moments from behind the lens so you have a memory to cherish forever.  

I like to provide lots of candid moments but I am also good at directing guests to ensure there are lots of great posed photos as well.

Hourly Rate ~ $249/hour with a 2 hour minimum

Extra USB Copies ~ $35
