I was hired by Ka’uhane School of Polynesian Dance to shoot photos and video of their year end dance show, the Ho’Ike 2018. the performances were powerful, colourful and beautiful. The sites and sounds were inspiring. The lighting, costumes and quality of the event were impressive. I really like that all ages and both men and women dance hula, it is something a whole family can be part of and do together. The school has been running since 1999 and has 150 students ranging from 2.5 years to 70+.
