Roscoe was born in August and I came to photograph him within the first month.  This helps so that the newborn isn’t moving around or fussing because they sleep most of the time (when not eating or pooping).  This family’s farm is a perfect backdrop for family portraits.  The old farm house with daddy’s hunting treasures is a super cool, rustic background for that farm feel.  They have a creek on their property too with some nice shade and lush greenery which was perfect to keep baby cool and comfortable on this hot summer day.
