The Special Children’s Christmas Party (SCCP) is an event for children that have health issues, disabilities or are in difficult life situations. The SCCP started in Australia in 1979 and has been in hosted in Vancouver at Canada Place for 3 years now.
This party allows the kids to just be kids for a day. There is so much for them to do it is amazing. There are bouncy castles, live pets to look at and touch, clowns, live music and dance performances, firetrucks and firemen, food, toys, and of course a visit and gift from Santa.
I had the pleasure of photographing and doing videography for the 2014 event. It was a joy to watch the children having so much fun. I met some amazing families and had a great time. I am looking forward to participating in the Special Children’s Christmas Party again this year.
